2024 Awards Banquet
On Saturday, April 6th, 2024 the Dresden Fire Dept. hosted their annual awards banquet at the Dresden United Methodist Church. Members and their families along with past members and family, department supporters and other guest enjoyed dinner prepared by the church and social time before the awards ceremony later in the evening. The department recognized years of service, senior and rookie members for 2023 and those who made special contributions to the department in 2023. We recognized and celebrated Jerry Strohacker’s 62 YEARS of service and his retirement at the of 2023. Dresden Fire Dept. personnel along with members from Frazeysburg Fire, Med Flight of Ohio, Frazeysburg Police, Ohio State Highway Patrol Post 60, and Muskingum County Sheriffs Office Dispatchers were awarded the 2023 Distinguished Service Award for their quick and efficient response to motor vehicle crash on Raiders Road in December of last year.
